Mid 19th Century Colonial Cedar Double Pedestal Desk of 8 drawers with inset black leather (replaced) writing surface.

Replaced leather inset writing surface with blind tooling and crossbanded cedar surround. All drawers feature fine cockbeading. False drawers to rear.

Good original finish. This is a nice early example of Australian craftsmanship made using handcut woodscrews.
