Large early 20th Century Australian Cedar Partners Desk comprising 8 drawers on one side with unusual Wellington style locking mechanism and two cabinets to the rear side, each with one internal shelf. Green leather writing surface with gold edge trim.

This piece was used as Sir Frank Packer's desk in the recent telemovie on the Nine Network - "Power Games, The Packer Murdoch Story" (see screenshot). It was previously owned by the high profile businessman, Warren Anderson.

All drawers work smoothly. All drawer runners have been repaired to our usual high standards. Very interesting known history - previously owned by a prominent Australian business identity.
