Small 19th Century Australian Cedar Desk or Side Table with two blind frieze drawers. Standing on turned legs, lovely original finish with good colour and patina. Made by Alexander Norton (one of the better Sydney cabinetmakers of the time) of Hunter Street, Sydney, with label. Very good quality and condition. Appears to have had very little use.
Although the label is worn, it is clearly distinguished as a Norton label. See included comparison picture.
