A very good quality 19th Century Australian Cedar and Mahogany 4 Door Inverted Breakfront Sideboard, in superb condition, featuring 3 frieze drawers with another 6 internal drawers, including a cellar drawer. Unlabelled, but undoubtedly made by one of the better Sydney or Melbourne cabinetmakers, this piece features imported mahogany bookmatched veneers to the backboard, doors, drawer fronts and plinth base. The applied carving to the backboard and doors has also of a very high standard.

All drawers work smoothly, runners have been restored to our usual high standards. All doors work well and have working locks with keys. Full Australian cedar construction, with imported mahogany veneers used as highlights. Made using the early handcut screws.
